Head Coach - Joe Henrich
    
Coach Henrich is entering his seventh season as Head Coach at Bethlehem Catholic. In 2017, the Hawks reached the State Semifinals for the second consecutive season.  In addition, they won their fourth District XI Championship in the last five years. Coach was named the PSFCA 4A Coach of the Year in 2017 and was selected as an assistant coach for the 2019 Big 33 Game.  In 2015, Coach Henrich guided the Hawks to the EPC North Division Championship. In 2013, Coach Henrich was Nike Eastern PA AAA Coach of the Year and served as the Head Coach of the Gold Squad in the 2014 McDonald’s Lehigh Valley All-Star Classic. Since arriving as the Head Coach in 2011, the Golden Hawks are 56-32 with four District Championships, one EPC Championship, four state playoff appearances and two time State Semifinalists.  He is a 1991 graduate of Emmaus High School where he was a 2-time All-Conference player and a participant in the McDonald’s All-Star Classic.  He continued his football career at the University of Connecticut where he was a starting center.  His coaching career began in 1995 at the University of Redlands, in Redlands, California as a Graduate Assistant.  In 1997, he was hired as the Defensive Coordinator at Western Connecticut State University.  He returned to the Lehigh Valley in 1998 to join the Muhlenberg College staff and helped lead them to their first non-losing season in eight years.  Coach Henrich then spent the next two years as the Defensive Coordinator at Albright College.  After a brief stint at Northampton High School, Coach Henrich returned to Muhlenberg and helped lead the Mules to a 10-2 mark and the second round of the NCAA playoffs for the first time in school history.  In 2003, Coach Henrich settled back into the high school ranks, serving two years as the Defensive Coordinator at Freedom, one season as the Special Teams Coordinator at Bethlehem Catholic, and five years as Defensive Coordinator at Emmaus.  During his tenure at Emmaus, the Green Hornets defense finished in the top two in the LVC in points allowed three times and in the top two in PIAA Class 4A twice.  In 2008, the Emmaus defense ranked second in the state with a 5.9 points allowed per game average.  Coach Henrich was instrumental in guiding Emmaus to 3 Eastern Conference Playoff appearances including one championship and two PIAA playoff appearances.  Coach Henrich currently serves as the Vice Principal at Bethlehem Catholic and resides in Bethlehem with his wife of twenty years, Monica, and their three boys, Alexander, Ryan and Trey.

Coach Saeger is entering his first season with Bethlehem Catholic after 14 years of coaching at East Stroudsburg North High School.  At North he was the Offensive Coordinator for the previous 10 years and Assistant Defensive Coordinator for the last 8. He will be coaching the safeties at Bethlehem Catholic.  Coach Saeger played Safety in college at East Stroudsburg University and helped the Warriors win a PSAC East Championship on 2002.  
Coach Searfass is in his seventh year as a coach at Bethlehem Catholic and will serve as the Hawks offensive coordinator for the second year. His previous coaching experience was at Emmaus High School where he coached quarterbacks and punters for three seasons.  Jeffrey was a 4 year letter winner at Freedom High School where he played quarterback and punter.  He is also a 2008 graduate of King’s College where he continued his playing career at quarterback and punter.
  

    
Coach Kelly is entering his 1st season at Bethlehem Catholic. Coach Kelly spent the previous 16 seasons in the New York Catholic High School Football League as the Head Coach at Christ the King High School in Queens, NY and Defensive Coordinator at Xavier High School in NY, NY. As the Head Coach at Christ the King, Coach Kelly was a 2-time Queens Coach of the Year by multiple local publications. During his tenure, he won a NYCHSFL Bowl Championship and the NYCHSFL AA League Championship where he was selected New York Daily News - Queens Coach of the Year and as a team was selected the #1 team in Queens. Coach Kelly helped with the recruitment of many players to go on to play at the collegiate level including multiple Division 1 and 1-AA players including a high school All-American who went on to become a college All-American. As the Defensive Coordinator at Xavier High School, they perennially finished as one of the top defenses in the entire Catholic league. During his time there, they won 2- AA Championships including an 11-1 season that became the winningest season in the Xavier’s history and held their opponents to a league leading 9.6 points per game. Prior to his time as a high school coach, Coach Kelly spent time as a collegiate coach at Stony Brook as the Running Backs Coach, Rutgers as an Assistant Defensive Line Coach and Villanova as the Defensive Tackles Coach. As a high school player, he was a Captain and All-League selection and went on to play college football at Siena College where he was a two-time Co-Defensive Player of the Year and a captain his Senior year. Coach Kelly resides in Bethlehem with his wife and son.
  
  
Coach Rice is a 1976 graduate of Freedom HS, where he was captain of the baseball and football teams.  He brings over 30 years of coaching experience to the varsity staff.  Coach Rice has coached at just about every level including, youth, middle school, freshmen, high school and semi-pro.  Coach was the Head Freshmen Coach for Coach Henrich for the past 5 years before being elevated to Varsity RB coach and Head JV Coach. In addition to coaching football, Coach Rice has served on the Girls Basketball staff, Field Hockey staff and Track & Field staff.  He currently is the Head Coach for the Boys and Girls Track & Field Program.  Coach Rice retired in 2014 from the City of Bethlehem after 30 years as a supervisor in the Public Works Department.  He resides in Bethlehem with his wife Cindi. They are the parents of four children; Kirra, Boomer, Matthew & Kolin and have one grandson, Finn River Rice.

Coach Parham is the former member of the Liberty High School, LV Steelhawks, and Trenton Freedom coaching staffs. Coach Parham served as the Defensive Line coach at Liberty and the  Offensive/ Defensive Line Coach with the Steelhawks and the Freedom with most of his players moving on to a higher level. James Parham hails from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and graduated from Bethlehem Catholic in 1996 with a full Athletic scholarship to the Uni of Akron. In High School and College, Coach Parham was All Area, All District, All League, All State, All Conference, and All American offensive lineman for Grossmont College(JC), Texas A&M University Kingsville. Coach Parham played many years of indoor football in the AFL, AF2. Coach Parham is a student of the game and of the Offensive Line. He attends many Offensive Line Clinics throughout the year and also coaches some OL camps. Coach Parham is also the OL coach for the FCS Bowl held every Dec in Daytona Fla and the Head Coach for the Globe Bowl held every Jan also in Daytona Fla. Coach Parham resides in Bethlehem, PA where he is a Union Ironworker he lives with his Fiancé Heather and their three sons.  
Coach Sculley returns to Becahi for the 2018 football season excited to be back as a Hawk.  Coach is a Bethlehem Catholic graduate and has coached football and softball previously at Becahi.   He brings over 30 years of coaching experience.  Coach Scully has coached at numerous schools throughout the valley, has coached various positions on both sides of the ball and has served as an offensive coordinator for much of his career.  He is a teacher in the Easton School District and resides in Bethlehem, PA.  
  

Coach Moussa is entering his 12th year of coaching, 3rd season with the Bethlehem Catholic coaching staff. His previous coaching experience started with the Emmaus Football program form middle school to Varsity. 2004-2006 Coach Moussa was an assistant coach / Defensive Coordinator at the Emmaus Middle school program. 2007-2009 Coach Moussa advanced to Assistant coach of the Freshman program and also was the Defensive Coordinator. In 2010-2012 coach Moussa was Varsity Defensive line Coach at Emmaus High School. Larry is joining us from Whitehall, where was has been an Outside Linebacks coach from 2013-2015. Larry is 2004 graduate of  Whitehall High School where he played Defensive End/ Tight End. Larry is going on his 13th year of employment  at Mack Trucks inc.
  
  
Phil Dorn enters his 17th season of coaching, first season at Bethlehem Catholic coaching the quarterbacks.  Prior to coming to Bethlehem Catholic he was the Head Coach at Catasauqua and Pocono Mountain East High School.  During his 4 year tenure as Head Coach at Catasauqua, he also served as the team’s offensive coordinator as the team qualified for the District 11 playoffs in 2017. Three of his receivers are now top three in the Catasauqua record books for receptions in a career and one of his quarterbacks finished his career 2nd all-time in passing yards and has broken and or tied numerous passing records at Catasauqua.  At Pocono Mountain East High School he was the head coach for seven years, while also taking the reigns as the offensive coordinator.  His teams qualified for the playoffs in 2 of his final 3 years at PME, it was the schools 3rd and 4th playoff games in their history. During his tenure, 76 players were named to the PA Football News All-State All-Academic Team and 51 player/team records were established.  Two of his Quarterbacks are 1st and 2nd all-time passing yardage at the school.  He coached 4 of the schools 1,000 yard passers and five 1,000 yard rushers.  Prior to being named head coach at Pocono Mountain East, he served as an assistant at PME from 2000 to 2006. From 2003 through 2006 Dorn served as the offensive coordinator for the Cardinals.  Phil is currently employed at Catasauqua High School and he resides in North Catasauqua with his wife Jill and his two daughters Brielle and Stephanie.

Coach Tennyson is entering his fifth season as a coach at Bethlehem Catholic. In 2017 he will serve as the Hawks H-back and TE coach.  His previous coaching experience includes three years with the Notre Dame - Green Pond youth program and three years as the O-Line coach for Gilmour Academy HS in Ohio, where he developed four All-Conference linemen.  During his collegiate career, Coach Tennyson was a 4-year letterman at Kenyon College.  He played fullback and linebacker, helping the team win a co-championship in the North Coast Athletic Conference.   Coach Tennyson resides in Easton, Pa with his wife , son Scott and daughter Victoria.
